Modern Men's
Styling
CURRENT, NOT TRENDY
Modern styling lives in the top: textured crops, messy quiffs, side-swept lengths and curtain shapes that move. We cut for movement first, then style it three ways in the chair so you know the look works messy, neat and in-between.
Bring screenshots — seriously. We'd rather decode your references together than guess at them.

The Process
Cut for motion,
style for life
DECODE THE REFERENCE
We break your inspiration photos into length, texture and finish — and flag what won't survive your real routine.
CUT THE MOVEMENT
Point cutting and slide work carve separation in, so the style holds without half a tub of product.
STYLE IT THREE WAYS
Polished, casual and undone — we demo all three so the cut earns its keep every day of the week.
PRESCRIBE THE KIT
One or two products max, matched to your hair. Most are on our shop shelf if you want them.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Will this style work with my hair type?+
Most modern styles adapt to straight, wavy or curly hair — the technique changes, not the idea. Fine hair gets layering for fullness; thick hair gets weight removal for movement.
I don't style my hair daily. Is this for me?+
Tell us that in the consult and we'll cut a version that air-dries well. Honesty about your routine is how you get a cut you'll actually like.
Which product should I use?+
Matte clay for texture and hold, lighter cream for natural movement. We'll demo both in the chair — our Matte Clay Pomade in the shop is the exact one we use.
How often does a textured cut need upkeep?+
Every 4–6 weeks. Texture grows out gracefully, so these cuts are the most forgiving in the book.
