Shaping
FRAME THE FACE
A beard should look designed, not merely grown. We set the cheek line to your bone structure, carve the neckline where the jaw actually ends, and balance density so the beard reads full without swallowing your face.
Every shaping ends with a hot towel, razor detailing and beard oil worked through — you'll feel the difference before you see it.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Face-shape mapping and line design
- Clipper sculpt and shear detailing
- Hot towel and straight-razor edging
- Beard oil finish and home-care plan
The Process
Geometry,
then softness
MAP THE LINES
Cheek line height, neckline placement and length goals agreed up front — lines are easy to lower, impossible to raise.
SCULPT THE MASS
Clipper and shear work balance the sides against the chin, keeping density where it flatters.
RAZOR THE EDGES
Hot towel softens everything, then the straight razor sets edges crisp enough to photograph.
FEED THE BEARD
Beard oil and a maintenance schedule — most beards need edging every 2–3 weeks.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
My beard is patchy. Can you still shape it?+
Usually yes. Strategic length and line placement hide a lot of patchiness — and we'll be honest when growing it longer is the better call.
How do I maintain the lines at home?+
We show you the two-minute neckline cleanup in the chair and send you home with the map. Most clients manage fine between visits.
What products does a beard actually need?+
Oil daily, wash a few times a week, balm when it's long. Our Cedar Beard Oil in the shop is the same one we finish every beard with.
Can I combine this with a haircut?+
That's exactly what the Hair & Beard Transformation is for — both services in one sitting, lines matched to each other.
